Built on gently sloping parkland that was once the grounds of Ferntower House, the nine-hole Crieff Dornock course provides a fair, but challenging experience for all abilities. At 2,321 for nine holes the Dornock is decidedly short, but still a stern test to the unwitting challenger. It is ideal for a quick nine, or as part of a thirty-six-hole package for golfers who wish to make a day of it. It is a fine version of the more famous Ferntower course, but on a more modest scale. There are wonderful views of the local Perthshire countryside and many come for that fact alone.
