In addition to the County’s Junior events which were announced at the end of last year, all of the Clubs Junior Opens will count towards the newly incepted Junior Scratch and Handicap Order of Merits where the top 3 in each section will earn the reward of receiving a Scholarship for Gleneagles the following year.

 

All Perth and Kinross County Junior Events are now open for entry via our events section and a current up to date list of all of the Perth and Kinross’s Junior Opens can be found on the events page 

The race to capture one of the 6 coveted spots will kick off at Blairgowrie’s Wee Course in the Junior Spring Meeting on the 11th of May, which can be entered here

 

The County Events and the Order of Merits are open to both Boys and Girls who are members of Perth and Kinross Clubs Scholarships are only open to Juniors who are under the age of 18 on the 1st of January the following year. In the event someone is too old, the next eligible junior on the Order of Merit will receive the Scholarship instead.

 

Over the years Perth and Kinross has produced some unbelievably talented golfers with a list that features not only current DP World Tour and Challenge Tour Professionals but also former World, British , Scottish and International Champions , with many going on to represent Scotland and Great Britain on numerous occasions also.

 

Hence, we are hopeful this partnership will allow more boys and girls to follow in their footsteps!
