Today at Crieff Golf Club 44 Boys and Girls from around the county braved the blustery elements in what established the first Junior County Strokeplay since 2019!
Congratulations to Kinross’s Robbie Hepburn and Strathmore’s Archie Pattullo who clinched their respective Junior Strokeplay Championship titles.
In the Scratch Championship Robbie carded a superb 67 to add to the Spring Meeting he won at Blairgowrie last month winning by just 1 shot over Archie Pattullo with a 68. In 3rd place was current Order of Merit leader and last weeks “Jennie Collie” winner Angus Palmer with a 71.
In the Handicap Championship Archie’s nett score was 62 which was 1 shot ahead of a 3 players on 63. Lucy Robertson, Ross Buttar and Lachlan Dodds-Miklosik . However, they could only be separated on countbacks with Lucy clinching 2nd and Ross in 3rd.
In terms of Vouchers, only one can be won and the highest value voucher takes precedence, hence the voucher winners are as follows:
Scratch Championship
1st Place – Robbie Hepburn (Kinross Golf Club) – £60
2nd Place – Angus Palmer (Strathmore Golf Centre) – £40
3rd Place – Andrew Steele (Kinross Golf Club) – £20
Handicap Championship
1st Place – Archie Pattullo (Strathmore Golf Centre) – £60
2nd Place – Lucy Robertson (Crieff Golf Club) – £40
3rd Place – Ross Buttar (Crieff Golf Club) – £20
