Our Season long Order of Merits give points for performances in our own P&KCGU events and also for a range of Club Opens.
Where the Handicap OOM will remain unchanged from previous years, This year P&K CGU have reviewed the Scratch OOM and came to the decision that 12 events will now make up the counting events, which are as follows:
P&K County Strokeplay Championship , P&K County Matchplay Championship , P&K Spring Meeting, P&K Summer Meeting , P&K Autumn Meeting, Blairgowrie Golf Club 36 Hole Open , Innerpeffray 36 Hole Open (Crieff Golf Club). Additionally , 5 Club 18 hole opens have been added to this years OOM (Strathmore, Alyth, Auchterarder, Kinross and Murrayshall)
Hence, in respect of the Scratch OOM:
Our P&K County Strokeplay Championship is the only Category A event with the following points: 150,120,100,80,75,70,65,60,55,50
The P&K Spring, Summer, Autumn Meetings and the Club 36 Hole Events are Category B events with the following points: 125,100,75,70,65,60,55,50,45,40
The P&K Matchplay Championships will also be a Category B event but due to the tournament being increased to 12 qualifiers from the Strokeplay Championship the points granted will be as follows: 125 for the winner, 100 for the runner up and 75 points for the beaten semi finalists.
This year 5 Club Opens are Category C events which will carry the following points: 100, 80, 60, 40, 20
In respect of the Handicap OOM:
Our P&K County Handicap Strokeplay Championship is the only Category A event with the following points: 150,120,100,80,75,70,65,60,55,50
The P&K Spring, Summer, Autumn Meetings are Category B events with the following points: 125,100,75,70,65,60,55,50,45,40
The P&K Matchplay Championships will also be a Category B event but due to the tournament being restricted to 8 qualifiers from the Strokeplay Championship the points granted will be as follows: 125 for the winner, 100 for the runner up and 75 points for the beaten semi finalists.
The Club Opens will be Category C events with the following points: 100,80,60,40,35,30,25,20,15,10

Please Note: Points in Club Opens are only awarded for the specific places in the Top 10 e.g. if you are the best placed Perth & Kinross player in a Club Open – but are 3rd overall – you will receive the 3rd place OOM points.
