Following Sunday’s JR Auto Services Autumn Meeting, the Seniors Order of Merit tables are now final!
In its first year of running, the Seniors OOM has proven that Perth & Kinross boasts a fiercely competitive Seniors section – with some outstanding golf played across the season.
Seniors Scratch OOM
🏆 1st – Mark Rose – Pitlochry Golf Club (425 pts)
A brilliant season for Mark, highlighted by 2nd place in the Spring Meeting and victory in the Summer Meeting, rounding off a consistent and impressive campaign.
🥈 2nd – Frank McCarron – The Blairgowrie Golf Club (390 pts)
Frank claimed the Seniors “County Double,” winning both the Strokeplay and Matchplay Championships. He also finished 9th in the Autumn Meeting and 4th in the Summer Meeting.
🥉 3rd – Brian “BM” Martin – Perth Artisans Golf Club (345 pts)
A strong run of results, including 10th in the Spring Meeting, 3rd in the Summer Meeting, 9th in the Seniors Scratch Strokeplay, semi-finalist in the Scratch Matchplay, and 2nd in the Autumn Meeting.

Seniors Handicap OOM
🏆 1st – Mark Rose – Pitlochry Golf Club (395 pts)
Adding to his Scratch success, Mark also claimed the Seniors Handicap OOM thanks to wins at both the Summer and Autumn Meetings, 3rd place in the Seniors Handicap Strokeplay Championship, and 9th in the Spring Meeting.
🥈 2nd – Peter Russell – Dunkeld & Birnam Golf Club (250 pts)
Peter took victory in the Spring Meeting, followed it up with 7th in the Handicap Strokeplay Championship, and rounded off the year with 6th in the Autumn Meeting.
🥉 3rd – Iain Ross – The Blairgowrie Golf Club (220 pts)
Consistent scoring throughout the season, including 4th in the Seniors Handicap Strokeplay, semi-finalist in the Handicap Matchplay, and 5th in the Autumn Meeting.
📅 County Prizegiving
All vouchers will be presented at the County Prizegiving at Blairgowrie Golf Club on Saturday 6th December, starting at 6pm.
