On Sunday , Crieff Golf Club hosted the P&K Junior County Strokeplay Championship, proudly sponsored by Colorado Construction.
A fantastic day of golf was enjoyed by all competitors, with the course presented in immaculate condition. While the sunshine was welcomed, the juniors were also tested by a wee breeze throughout the day, adding an extra challenge to an already competitive championship.
The standard of golf on display was excellent, with players from across the county toughing it out to not only qualify for the Matchplay stages , but become the Strokeplay Champions

In the Scratch Strokeplay Championship , Congratulations go to Blairgowrie Golf Club’s Brendan Riff who carded a 73 to take home the title and a new PXG Stand Bag
In 2nd place, pipped to 1st on better inward half was another Blairgowrie member, Lachlan Dodds-Miklosik who also carded a 73 and picked up a PXG cap and 2 sleeves of PXG‘s Tour and Tour X golf balls.
In 3rd place was Crieff Golf Clubs Kieran Wilson, a man in form right now coming off the back of a win in the Jennie Collie last week, he fired a 74 to finish 3rd and took home a PXG Tour Towel and 2 sleeves of PXG‘s Tour and Tour X golf balls.
In the Handicap Strokeplay Championship Congratulations to Borys Thexton of the North Inch who fired a superb nett 64 to take home the title and a new PXG Stand Bag
In 2nd place, 1 shot back on 65 was his clubmate from the North Inch, Charlie Powrie who picked up a PXG cap and 2 sleeves of PXG‘s Tour and Tour X golf balls.
And in 3rd place , Crieff Golf Clubs Ross Buttar who fired a nett 67 and took home a PXG Tour Towel and 2 sleeves of PXG‘s Tour and Tour X golf balls.
