Thank you to everyone who played in the County Strokeplay Championships at Pitlochry Golf Club. We hope you enjoyed the day, despite the weather’s best efforts to make things challenging!

Congratulations to Cameron Russell (Crieff Golf Club) on winning the Scratch Championship with a superb total of 6-under-par 132, finishing five shots clear of defending champion Callum McGuigan (Comrie), who was runner-up on 137. Allyn Dick (Murrayshall) secured third place on 139, edging out Ewan Farquharson (Blairgowrie) on countback. Glenn Campbell (Blairgowrie) completed the top five with a total of 140.

Congratulations also to Peter Russell (Dunkeld & Birnam Golf Club) on winning the Handicap Championship with an excellent score of 68, two shots clear of Graeme Bennett (Kinross) in second place on 70. Graeme finished one shot ahead of club-mate Stewart Thomson, who carded 71. Stuart McKendrick (Dunkeld & Birnam) was fourth on 73, with Steven Gilroy (Crieff) fifth on 74.
