Today at King James VI Golf Club , we hosted our annual Summer Meeting. The event was kindly sponsored by Salmoni Opticians

Congratulations to Blairgowrie Golf Club’s Steven Park who carded a superb 67 (3 Under) to clinch the win. King Jimmy has become a happy hunting ground for Parky, with this being his third win at the course in the last three years.
In second place was Blairgowrie’s Craig Hay , who finished just one shot back from Steven on 68 (2 under)
There were 4 players , tied on 71. King James’s Allan Fraser, Murrayshall’s Gavin Dear and Blairgowrie duo Tom Mclevy and Connor Neil. However, it was local knowledge that prevailed with Allan pipping the others on better inward half.
Nett
Congratulations to Dunkeld & Birnam’s Stevie Gilroy, who carded a nett 65 to win by 3 shots over King James’s Allan Fraser who finished in second place.
In third place it was Perth Artisan’s Brian Martin (BM) who swapped starters duties for the golf course to card a nett 70 , clinching 3rd spot on better inward half from scratch winner Steven Park.
The Park Plumbing and Heating Order of Merit tables will be fully updated shortly to reflect the results!
Thank you to everyone at King James Golf Club for hosting our Summer Meeting, the course was in fantastic condition and the weather didn’t disappoint either. Hopefully not too many sunburnt golfers watching the closing stages of the Open Championship!
