Format
5 Player Team Matchplay (Scratch) from Medal Tees.

Clubs will be drawn into 2 groups with the top 2 in each group winning through to the Semi
Finals.

Semi Finals are played over 2 legs (Home and Away):
Gp A 1st vs Gp B 2nd and Gp B 1st vs Gp A 2nd then reverse fixtures.

Team Captains can arrange to play games on any day of the week. However, if alternative
dates can’t be agreed the default is to play on the Friday night. Matches must be played by
the dates advised. No extensions will be granted.

 

Games should be played in order. A change in play order must be agreed by both team
captains.

Teams play in HC Index Order.

Ladies are allowed to play and will play from the next available set of Tees forward from the
Medal Tees. (e.g. If Medal Tees are White then Ladies would play from Yellow). This is in
line with R&A guidelines.

Please note that food afterwards is at the discretion of the host club and is not required or to
be expected.

Matches that are tied during the group stages are not required to be played to a finish. Tied
Matches in the Knockout stages will require a result – with the match that is tied played to a
finish. Extra holes being played in course order.

The result of the match should be sent to via the WhatsApp group.
This group is for sharing results only – it is not for communicating between Team Captains
or for arranging matches or sharing other comments.

The committee will post regular league tables to the P & K Website and Social Media.
