Today we hosted both the Stroyan Trophy and the Stroyan Salver at Dunning Golf Club.
In the Stroyan Trophy it was the Blairgowrie team of Craig Hay and Malcolm Davidson who came out on top with a score of 68 , 2 clear of the team from Perth Artisan of Brian Martin (BM) and Robbie Thorne who carded a 70. In 3rd place was the team from the host club Dunning: David Morrison and Thom Irelan.
In the Stroyan Salver it was the team from Murrayshall of Kieran Murdoch and Bruce McCall who won by 4 shots with a nett 68. In 2nd place was the Ronnie and Scott Sinclair from Kinross with a 72 who ousted last years Champions Geoff Porter and Brian Brown from Strathtay on better inward half.
Dunning was in fabulous condition with high praise coming from all, noting the greens were particularly excellent! Thank you to all involved at Dunning Golf Club for their hard work and allowing P&K to host our Annual Stroyan Trophy and Stroyan Salver!
