We were graced with lovely warm sunshine at the beautiful Killin Golf Club today for the Stroyan Trophy and the Stroyan Salver. The course was magnificent and proved a stern test for the 18 teams competing.
Congratulations to the Murrayshall Golf Club team of David Watson & Gordon Boal on winning the Stroyan Trophy with a score of 68. Runners up was Strathtay Golf Club pair of Simon Gray & John Macbeth with 74 and in 3rd place Sergei Baltacha & Brian McCormick from Milnathort Golf Club with a score of 76
In the Stroyan Salver it was a closer affair with Geoff Porter & Brian Brown from Strathtay Golf Club winning the Salver with a score of 65. The father and son pair of Nick & Kayden Wright from Perth Artisans Golf Club came second on a back 9 countback. In 3rd was John Lees & Craig Whyte from Muthill Golf Club with a nett score of 66

We want to thank all the staff, committee and members of Killin Golf Club for hosting Perth & Kinross County Golf Stroyan Trophy and Salver competition.
