Today at King James we hosted our Men’s Summer Meeting, which given the overnight rain in Perth it was a miracle the course was playable.
King James has become a bit of a happy hunting ground for Blairgowrie’s Steven Park who carded a 67 (3 under) to pip Pitlochry’s Mark Rose on better inward half. In 3rd place a new face to the County scene , Sandy Phillips of Blairgowrie was 2 shots back on 69 (1 under) to take 3rd spot.
Mark Rose clinched top honours in the Handicap Competition with a nett 67, 1 shot clear of Milnathorts Sergei Baltacha on 68, with clubmate Steven McDiarmid finishing in 3rd place on 69.

Massive thank you to King James for being exceptional hosts yet again, exceptional hospitality. However, given the biblical rain a special well done must go to the the King Jimmy greenkeepers for working wonders and presenting the course in unreal condition!
